Corporate Governance Systems

Abstract

This chapter reviews the main taxonomies of corporate governance systems. The review does not only cover the taxonomies developed by financial economists and legal scholars, but it also covers the so called 'varieties of capitalism' (VOC) literature which has been ignored by most of the former two types of scholars.
